Finite Element Analysis on an Engine Rod

 Using CATIA 3DExperience, via Structural Model and Scenario creation applications, a simple FEA has been conducted on an engine rod. Results are shown in the following video, and process steps afterwards:

Material created was Cast Steel, with density of 7800 kg/m^3 , Poisson's ratio of 0.265 and Young's modulus of 200 GPa.

The applied load is a force of 250 N, along the z-axis.
